Windshield wiper linkage

Have to replace it. Found nearly every part except for the wiper motor linkage. Will the '76 work (10-1/4")? I can shorten or lengthen it if necessary, just don't know if it'll attach okay to the wiper motor, since the wiper motors seem to be different pre- and post-'76. Thanks...

 

I had to cut and weld mine to get it to fit since no one sells one for the one I have, (large glass, wiper motor on the outside). Everything works great now!
