willys wagon 3 speed

    i have a 3 speed with a t18 on it , It is out of a 61 willys station wagon
    i would like to know will it fit on my 68 cj5 with the 225 v6, the trany in my cj is bad so i need to do something .

    Are you talking about a T90 transmission and a D18 (Dana/Spicer 18) transfer case?

    If so there are two different lengths on the input shafts of a T90 transmission, one for 4-cylinders and another longer one for 6-cylinders. If the wagon had a six in it the shafts should match up, however, I'd recommend either rebuilding the transmission you have in it now, or going with a slightly larger transmission for your 225. I've heard that the T90s didn't always hold up under the strain of the larger v6... but I could be mistaken.. if someone's heard different let me know!
