    Hi folks,

Im getting ready to make a purchase on a new speedometer dial, and cable. Ive been reading on where the cable connects to, and what not, But I have been wondering about a few things: I noticed the nut ( i guess you can call it that) that holds the speedometer gear is threaded on the outside. My question is, if I buy the speedo cable kit, will it include a cap I can thread onto this nut to hold the speedo cable inplace? Or would that come separate?

Also, I noticed that in my 4wd catalog these little gears come in 14 and 15 count. I counted 18 teeth on my speedo gear. Where can I buy the 18 tooth gear if mine were to get chewed up? :?

Oh yea one more thing; The gear when I removed it, came out real easy, when I reinstall it is there anything i should know? do i just set it back in the same way it came out? Guess its a stupid question but i dont want to have this gear chewed up If i do anything wrong.R)

    Thanks!:hurrican:

You should be able to put it back the same way it came out. The cable comes complete with both ends on it, all you do is screw it on. I'd call Walck's and ask about the gear availability.
