    I have been looking for a FSM for 1980 but everything I find is $70 plus. Being penny wise (read cheap) I have a friend that I can get a 1978 FSM from fer not much. Anyone know if there would be much difference between 1978 FSM and 1980 FSM? And any other ideas on where to get a less expensive 1980 FSM would be appreciated. TIA

    The transmission would be one difference along with paint codes. I believe using an 80 FSM would be much better the using an appropriate year (78 ) Chilton/ Haynes manual.

    If your patient the FSM do show up on ebay for under $20
