Dumb question maybe but I'm trying to save myself some aggravation.
Is a Saginaw pitman arm interchangable with a Jeep box?

I have a saginaw power steering set up (minus the arm) on my 67 w/ Dana 30 and a shackle reverse and I'm trying to get the right pitman arm for it. I'm assuming I need about a 2" drop because of the Currie springs I have.

Please steer me in the right direction (pun intended)

There on e-bay all the time but im sure you could do better at the bone yard there are a lot of saggy boxes out there with different pitman arms. Oh and early jeep boxes were Ross boxes after 71 they started using saggys from the fact.HTH

    Thanks Captain!
So I'll assume that I can use a Jeep part as well if it is off of a late (71 & newer) model Jeep?

The splined end of the arm that attaches to the steering box is different between power and manual. They will not interchange. A stock pitman for a Jeep Cherokee (XJ) has about 3" of drop and can be found a lot cheaper than an aftermarket drop pitman arm.
