I found a trailer for $750. Haven't been able to see it yet in person but sounds promising. Same owner for 40 yrs. and has been stored indoors and has no rust or metal damage. The interesting thing is it has a covered wagon style canvas top. It has a raised bed platform and he used it for camping. My question is did Bantam offer this cavas top as an option? I will probably buy it either way. I was just wondering. thanks

I think that's it. So it's just a nice original trailer. Does $750 sound like a fare price if it turns out to be rust and damage free?

I get offered that amount every time I take mine out for a trip, and others see it.... price is good, no, ... great, even without the bows and canvas !

I built crude removable side rails and made plywood sides for hauling leaves, pine needles etc to the recycle yard, too. But mostly it takes camping gear for week long trips into the back country, and hauling firewood rounds back out.

Indispensible item.. right up there with the OBA, Lincarc welder and winch.

California Sucks!!!!! I'm down here in Santa Barabra, California visiting my in-laws. Not my favorite place, but everybody is from somewhere. Nice weather. My bad. Not being in California rhythm. I didn't get the trailer. Even though I told the seller I had cash, wanted it and called back for appointment when he told me too. He sold it to a fast talker from San Diego, this morning. Seems people here lie as often as lawyers and politicians and IMHO if this part of this part of the country falls off the content, the better for it. Everytime I come down here I have some major experience with the general culture of the place that just leaves me repulsed by the experience. Please, somebody, shoot me in the head next time I cross the border.
