I have a 1973 CJ5 and I am trying to hook up the windshield wiper motor to the new switch i got but i am not sure where the wires go i have three wires coming off of the wiper motor and my switch has four prongs and i am pretty sure i know what prong the little relay thing goes on witch i believe the power will come in on, should i just try randomly putting the three wires on the other prongs? I really need a wiring diagram for the wiper motor and switch if anyone knows of a place i can get one. Thanks

One should be the power for the swich coming from the ingniton switch the others will plug into the motor lead.

It could be that 3 wires run to the wiper, 1 wire to power and one wire to the washer motor. !!

I assume the relay thing is the circuit breaker or the wiper. Other than that I don't believe Jeeps were uing relays that year.

I my schmatic is correct then the switch should be labeled 1,2,3 to the wiper, w for washer and B or battery.
