worstop tiger top issues

so my door on my tiger top still leaks but it's not because of the door the damn top just isn't long enough to properly over lap the door. so i called bestop and they are sending me new doors? why the hell do i need new doors. is anyone else having this problem ? i've bent the doors all they could go but water just runs right in. has anyone built some kinda seal to go between the fabric and the door?

 

I used to use velcro on the top of my doors. Made a world of difference.

 

I had the same problem with a Bestop Replace a Top for my 80 CJ-5. As you said. the top doesn't overlap the doors sufficiently. I lucked out when I scored a NOS Whitco top. No more leaks over the doors now.

 

thanks for all the input i've got the funny feeling that i'll have an extra set of tan doors to experiment on

 

so the worstop people sent me some doors and they're black my top is tan oops i still got water on my lap. what do you guys think about the weather strip you get from autozone it will clip on the door and it has a big squishy rubber tube attached to it the only problem is it's like 25 bucks
