This might be a dumb question but...

    Some of U may know that I am rebuilding a CJ8 & converting it to a M-170.

    I have a question,
    1. Is there any way this [IMG] steering wheel will fit the 1984 CJ8's column? I called & could not get a answer if it will fit the shaft diameter or not. They do make one in Black for later CJ's w/a slightly bigger hole.

    2. For some of you fabricators out there is it possiable to make one fit & if so, how?

    Thanks,
    RollBar

P.S. The picture of the steering wheel is from 4wd.com, part number-A6858, year 1951-1968

Find a coluum from a 72-75 CJ It will look like the M170 one.
Will have to make some mounting bracket.
You will be able to use the large bus type steering wheel.
