RPM limit -F-head

    I am now installing an MSD 6 digital unit and I am trying to figure out the maximum rpm the old F-head will safely handle -so I can set the rev limiter -
    I don't want to spin a rod bearing again!
    I was thinking around 4000 rpm?

    Sounds about right. IIRC max HP and torque were listed @ 4200 RPM.

    So, maybe set the upper limit at 4500? It is adjustable in 100 rpm increments.
