modified spring plates plates, short stud is for the shock and the longer one is for the swaybar mount. This is also not quite done yet.

nice idea should work great. but i have never been a fan of sway bars, unless quick disconnect type. do you plan on doing disconnect type?

is there a reason you dropped it down so low? I plan on using a later sway bar on my 74 also, just haven't gotten to it yet...

Eventually i will make a set of disconnects, but right now I'm just going to use the stock links.

I need to drop it down 1.5in for steering shaft clearance on the other side.

Have you driven it with the sway bar yet? Does it improve the street driving quite a bit? Let us know, thanks.

took it out for a spin today, the diffrence is amazing. It make the sway around the corners and lane changes much less.

So what sway bar did you use? I drove a 76? on a test drive one time and I think it had a factory front sway bar, was very impressed at how well that jeep drove. I was sold on the sway bar but never have installed one. Glad it works well for you. I might have to move that mod up on my list to do.

I used a swaybar off a 82 i think. Is far as i know jeep had two diffrent size swaybar a 7/8th in and a 14/15th in I used the larger size which made it almost impossible to find the correct bushings. I think the 7/8th will work just as well.
I also made up a set of sway bar disconnects.
