    That a Dana 30 off a 66 Bronco will bolt up directly. The donor is stock so I'm hoping for 3.73.

    I'm getting it for free... ;)

    "Free" is only so free some times:) Isn't the bronco set up for coils etc? I got mine off a 79 cj5 and it set right on the springs it was only $50.

    as said, i think the broncos use coils up front. and i imagine a bronco front axle has to be wider than what you want.

    early broncos were close to the same width,but as mentioned coil springs up front,that would be enough to discorage me,get it anyway if it free might be able to use it for parts or to trade up something else

    Most EB guys take out the D30 in favor of the later EB D44.
    Helped my buddy put one in last year, his D30 is still just sitting outside.

    And yes, the diff is in the wrong side for a CJ. It would fit a YJ, but they already have a D30 so there's no benefit. Of course the EB front D44s are in pretty high demand by both the EB crowd and the YJ crowd...
