side steps

    I recently bought a pair of original side steps that have been altered. Someone shortened the two legs that attach to the body for ground clearance I would assume. I would like to restore them to thier original specifications. Could someone give me the original length of the two legs.

    Would measurement be from the top of the step to the top of the leg or the botom of the leg to to the top of the leg.
