Okay...I feel really stupid for asking but how do I get the windshield wiper arms off? I messed with them a little this morning but I didn't want to put too much pressure on them. The wipers work fine but I wanted to get the arms off so I can clean up the windshield frame and repaint it. I see they have a piece that fits against the frame, and then a nut that tightens them down. After that is the arm. Do you just twist the arm off or do I need to loosen the nut? Again, I apologize for such an elementary question but I wanted to ask before I break something.

Should be a littl clip that needs to be pulled back and then it should slide off.

You were right sink...no clip. But, with a good amount of prying, yanking, and pleasant language they cam off with ease:)

That's the Jeep Mechanic's triple threat.

I find that combo to be quite effective.
Throw some PB Blaster in there and you're unstoppable!!:smash:
