front brakes on dana 30

    looking to put disc brakes on a dana 30 . I read about the dana 27 brake swap. did any one do a 30 ? If so any tips?

    Just did this. Piece of cake. I've actually done two ways now. Easiest way depends on your model year. I've done it to the 7/8" rotors, just swapped the whole knuckle/caliper/rotor/hub assembly from another D30 over.

    If you've got 6 bolt knuckles, you can use the Chevy setup listed in the tech section, you may have to swap out the inner bearings races, or you can find a set of discs off of a '77-'78 D30.
