I talked to an engine rebuilder today who said he had two 231 odd-fire engines. He said one was regular crank and one was a "straight pin".
    What does this mean?
    Thanks,

The regular crank should be an even fire and the straight pin would be an oddfire. Meaning a straight journal and not a split journal. My guess is he really doesn't know what an oddfire is, most of them don't in my experience.

Thank you very much. That was my guess. I will probably buy this motor but want to know for sure before I make the investment.
