Chris, I looked into the dist. you are talking about for my 61. I even ordered one, then I learned you cannot get replacement parts, if it fails you have to buy a whole new dist..
I have seem several posts here where others have used it and like it very much. They carry and old dist. to put in in case of failure but noone has reported a failure.
They do say they work much better.
    Good luck

The instruction page for that distributor lists spare parts. Rotor, cap and module. I assume you're talking about the same distributor. They only list one, 12volt for '41 to '71.

    so,
if they have cap, rotor and the module they are complete on parts and you don't have to carry a distributor.only some parts.

Glenn??is this sure for the parts?i want to buy one but i was wondering if it have spare parts.

I only noted that the page listed spare parts, I have no idea if it's correct. You can't buy directly from Omix anyway, so you need to ask the dealer you buy it from about spare parts.

For me it was the "Dealer" that said no spare parts were available. In years past I had trouble with GM modules so that concern.
If you can get parts I would go for it.
