:coffee: How difficult is it to convert a 74 cj5 to have power steering? What all is involved? It is OK now with the pathetic small street tires I have now. But next week my new rims and 31" mud tires will arrive. Of course I will drive it and "feel" the difference, but it is a feasible and better thing to do? R)

Not that hard if you do your research and acquire the correct parts. Bone yards, ebay and others.

Do a search here, discussed a lot.

Tips: Your most likely a AMC engine. Remember that these are the same engines as the AMC cars. Search the AMC family. The brackets are the hard to find parts, pumps and gears the easy part. High Pressure hose will need to be made in most cases. When searching and configuring your setup search each part. ie PS Gear Box, PS Pump, you'll get more detailed threads.
