Oil tube and dip stick ?

    ok this is a stupid question but where does this go . i ordered this thinking that something totally different. does this go in the big tube on the front of my 304 or what? sorry for the stupid question ? michael

    drivers side, middle of the engine block.
    you'll see the opening where the tube fits into.
    best to check and make sure a tube isn't already broken off in the block.
    the large tube you're describing is the breather tube/oil fill tube.
