finished the jack mount today. 1 1/2"x 3/16" angle iron. Copied the hood hinges for the feet & used 1 1/2"x 3/16" square tube for the risers. Lock closure is hinged on the back side. Used undustrial gasket to quiet the rattling & save the paint on the jack. On the back (windshield) side I welded on a piece of 1 1/2" round tube cut in half to hold the handle secure. Used stainless 1/2" bolts & made my own wing nuts w/ stainless 1/2" nuts w/ 1/4" stailess rod for the wings.

I'd like to ask 2 questions if I may...
    Whats it lock to?
    And
Are you not folding your windshield down again?

the flap is hinged to the angle iron and a tab is welded to the bottom side. the flap, when closed & locked will not allow you to lift the jack high enough to get it over the studs, which are also welded on. No, I won't be running with my windsheild down. If I do it will still go down but it will sit up a couple inches higher than normal.
