    How hard is the drivers side of the Dana 27 front axle to take apart? I think that my u joint in the steering knuckle? is broke.... everytime i turn and give it gas it rattles somewhat and when i staighten out it clears up..... any writeups on this?

    It's not tough. You pull the hubs, brakes, and front spindle and then it slides out.

    :iagree:...just plucked the spindle off a spare D27 in my back yard, no special tools and 30 minutes tops
