All, have a D44 from a 1969 1/2 CJ for my rear end in the 2A. It's got the tapered shafts and doesn't look to have ever been inside of, except for the brakes.
I'm almost positive it's 19 spline, but could be wrong?
Is there a way to check without tearing it down?
    TIA

    nope
if you are 100% positive of the Jeep it came from, then they are 19 spline factory.

they gotta be 19 spline, only early ones where 10 spline up to 65 maby? You could pull the cover and check:) Looking for axles to go with that power loc are you?:)

Never pulled the axles, only removed the hubs to do the brakes. The CJ6 was built in late 69.
