Remove Headlight Beauty Ring

    Dumb question but my headlights had a screen thing over the headlights that the mounting tabs are tightly wedged between the headlight shell and the beauty ring. I need to get in there for my rewiring and am afraid to pry too hard. Do they just pry off?

    Remove bottom screw, pull bottom out, lift up. There's a tab in the top, don't break it.

    Thanks. I had the screw out but it was really tightly on the headlight shell. I was afraid to pry too hard until I was sure what I was doing. I got one off.

    I was very surprised. The beauty rings on my Jeep are heavy metal and polished up very nicely on my wire buffing wheel. I've never seen decorative parts solid like these. I am rewiring my Jeep and am very impressived how heavy everything is made on it. These things are made to last and make a wonderful hobby vehicle.

    the used stainless steel for the head light rings polish up nicely.
