I replaced the keyed switch with a race car ignition switch and start button.

I bought a switch panel to group some of my switches.

Switches control my: Brake Lock, Wiper, heater, radios are all on a hot switch so ignition doesn't need to be on. Instead of wiring all the instrument lights I put an accessory light over them also controlled by a switch.

I still needed extra switches for headlights and driving lights.

I'm also excited because I've learned to post pictures here.

Thanks guys. One of the hardest things I've ever done was take a well running vehicle and cut all the wiring out of the whole thing. I had the rewiring kit on the shelf for years trying to convince myself to start. Once I got going it was not hard one wire at a time and I ended up really enjoying it. It was fun because I could go out to my shop and run a coupe of circuits without getting all dirty when ever I got bored with normal life. I've had this 69 CJ5 now for 6 or 7 years and it has been a great project. It only has 327 miles on it since I got it because I have a 95 Jeep Cherokee I use for work and fun. I've rebuilt pretty much the whole mechanical end of things and one project just kind of flows into the next. Herm's power steering was probably the biggest jump in improvement.
