    Anyone on the forum have a good place to buy sheetmetal in St. Charles county just outside St. Louis? I'm taking my meyer top apart right now just getting the Doors apart now....

    If you're just looking for some flat pieces I would say anyplace that has it would be fine. In the yellow pages try sheet metal or heating or air conditioning companies. Make sure you know the thickness you want before calling. I would assume about 20 gauge steel or .040 aluminum. Just for reference 20 gauge galvanized is $2.48 per square foot here and there may be a cut charge on top of that.

    We have a hundred tons of sheet metal in stock here but that won't help you much there.

    Are you saying 20ga for the door skins?

    I seem to see every other for say body repair is 16ga?

    I would say match what you have. I was just saying that 20 ga. is a common thickness for auto parts.
