Tire sizes

    Hello,
    I have a 1979 Jeep CJ 7 with no lift how big of a tire size can I go with no problems ? The rims are M/T Classic Lock 15x8.

    About 31 x 10.50, according to most charts.
    It would look good with 33's and a 2.5" soft spring lift.
    Spend the extra dough and help the economy!

    I agree with CJ-X, 31x10.50r15's. Although I basically have stock springs on a cj5 because they are tired and I run 34x9.50r15 tsl's. Go figure.
