I need seat belts in my 1974 CJ5 I need some ideas for 3 point setups and just lap belts mounting points and what type to buy for the front mounting points on the rear. Also how do most install the rear seat? Do you use the bolts that go from the body to the frame?

I went to the local junkyard and got belts form a conv. van. I grabbed all of them so they would match front and back. There is reinforced bolt holes at the rear of the tub, on my tub, that I used to mount them. Also the rear belts were for a seat that was removable and had extra long mounts for the upper belt with releases, I just flipped it over and ran the top just over the seat and bolted to the tub. This will change when I do a family style roll cage and then it will mount to the bar like a newer tj. It works good for kids in the back but adults would need a different upper shoulder mount. Grade 8 bolts and washers. Ill look for some pics.
