stainless tailgate chains

    Hi All..

    I have been looking on the internet and can not for the life of me find anyone that makes a set of replacement stainless tailgate chains for the 71. I was sure someone makes/made them but I am stumped.
    So does anyone have a link of a manufacturer handy it would be much appreciated????

    If worse comes to worse I will make a set up myself but I need some dimensions anyone willing to help out there as well???

    I was also wanting to use stainless chains and hook on my '69 .Ifound SS chain at McMaster-Carr ,but it wasn't the correct size.i can make the hooks out of stainless round stock just need right size chain. please let us know if you do find a source.

    Those aren't stainless. They're plated. (I know because I make them :) )

    Yeah, I'm still alive and my CJ5 is still going strong. Just at one of those points where life is super busy. But I do pop in every now and then.
    Though I might pull the Jeepster back into the garage and start working on that again.
