Hey everybody, I was hoping someone could tell me the name of the gear that the distributor gear meshes with inside the timing cover. I need to replace that one and the distributor gear due to excessive wear. Also if anyone has recommendations of where to get those i would appreciate it.
    thanks again gang

It's the distributor/oil pump drive gear. Up til 1977 it slides on a keyway and is retained with a bolt. After 1977 it became integral along with the fuel pump eccentric permanently part of the cam shaft.
