Can anyone tell me if a rochester 2GC will swap out with a 2G on a Buick 225. It seems the only difference is the manual choke and the thermostatic choke. I looked up the stamped # on the carb bowl 7008597 and found it was used on Chevrolet engines from 1958-1956. Also could anyone tell me what a rebuilt 2GC may be worth. Any info is really appreciated. Thanks

There were lots of Rochester 2Gs made with varying CFMs.

If the base is the same you could bolt it up and try it and see how it works.

Without pictures though and a comparison with the stock carburetor it's tough for us to give too much information I'm afraid.
