Tuffy Console in Intermediate?

Looking at putting a lockable console in the 74. Tuffy says that their Console II will probably/likely fit. Anyone drop one of these in their intermediate before?

Any other recommendations on lockable and metal consoles for the intermediates?

 

Don't know what their looks like? but I moved the pass seat over 2 1/2 inch and install one . the seat bracket i made out flat stock ,just drill hole and use a hacksaw for the slot. works great.

 

Tumbleweed - that sounds great... cheaper is always a plus (as long as the quality holds up). How far back beyond the chairs does it sit? You wouldn't have a picture of the setup would you?

 

Tuffy is made in USA. Smittybilt is imported.

Some people make consoles from ammo cans.

I dont work for Tuffy. Just happen to think a country needs to actually MAKE things if it's going to survive.

Most CJ accessories can be adapted to Intermediates with just a bit of creativity. It's a metal box, after all. Members here swap engines, adapt axles, upgrade steering, rebuild bodies with more hole than steel...
