T14 Mount ?

    I have a question about my T14 mount that hasn't been able to be answered by the search. The "foot" of the tranny has 3 threaded holes. The mount I got (which matches the worn one I removed) has two holes in it. I can see NO WAY to use two of the three mounting holes to attach the mount to the transmission. Is this just the way it's supposed to be? Only using 1 of 3 holes? That's how the mount I removed was attached but it's being replaced for a reason. Any thoughts from you fine gents?

    the mount does not bolt directly to the trans case.
    The mount is offset thru the use of the long metal mount or bar shown in the pic.

    Where did that picture come from? I have a stack of manuals but haven't seen that level of detail for T14 mounts before.

    it's from the Jeep factory parts manual
    most, if not all, of my diagrams come from that book
