Halfcab and Roll Bar

    Not sure what forum this should be or not. I got a 66 CJ6 I am working on at the moment. I am wanting to run a halfcab and a full roll cage. Has anyone done this? Just looking for Ideas. Thought about building two parts for the cage. A part that will go on the front section and a part for the rear and both tie into the frame. The have the half cab go over the front section. Any other ideas?

    I think two seperate cages might magnify stresses with twist or flex and crack the frame or body panels. AM

    Same issue with the half cabs on the 5s. When I have done them in the past you build a flange surface where the cab 'slices' through the cage so you can attach the cage fully at that point with the cab on or off.
