Proper fuse size?

I'm trying to get tail lights and signal lights working on
a 64 cj5 that has been slightly butchered. The po did away with
the signal wiring and ran a trailer wiring harness all the way to the
front bumper to use while towing.[also added 2 extra taillights for this]
What is the proper size fuse to handle the flasher unit? Any more info
you have will be appreciated.
The signal unit is a Spartan.
