Just painted my engine

Just started back on my snowballed powersteering addition and I was wondering can a ac pump (converted to make air for a tank) strap on to my 225 also? I already mounted a p.s. Pump on the driver side.


Also needed new altenator bracket.

I don't know where you'd put it. Ymight could hang the PS pump in the old smog pump location and put the compressor above it. It would take some ingenuity though, I know of no one whos done it.:v6:

Yup. You can use all the bracketry and accessories from a 231 or Buick 350 v-8 and it will work. Have it on the 231 in the '59 CJ-5.

Someone on here also built brackets to put a York style AC compressor on a 225 on the passenger side. Might do a search on that.

 

I have a 231 with an old import compressor on it. Sits right above the P/S pump. I think CJ5/442 has a York.
