brake question

    what are the 2 "nodes" on the end of the master cylinder for? They look like electrical connections. Existing master cylinder has one wire attached and one hanging. it looks like that one of them goes to the dash. The other i cant trace right now. 1960 cj5

    That's the brake light switch. Needs to have both wires connected to work.

    That's your break light switch. Both wires need to be connected
