MORE frame reinforcement plates

Has anyone used these on an intermediate frame? Hows the fit? I actually want to use them inside the frame rail to replace rusted out factory boxing on my 74's driver side. They are expensive, but it would take me hours and hours to cut the patch panels myself with jigsaw, cutoff wheels, etc. I'd love a plasma cutter but just can't justify it for as much as I'd use it.
