    Looks great!

I also have the Pro-tool bender and love it. I bought mine many, many years ago. The instructions back them came on VHS. While very dry, they were extremely helpful for layouts. I converted them to DVD and if you want a copy I could burn you one. Just pm me and let me know if interested with your addy.

Hey thanks. I didn't know they have been making this bender for so long. Mine came with a simple instruction book and I also bought the Bend Tech EZ 3D program. The program is great but not with out a couple flaws, I am pretty sure it lied to me once. I really like seeing the piece before I make a single cut or bend. There are some parts that I just used the tried and true method of math and measuring but it has been rare.

I guess I let this thread go dry, but really most of the work hasn't even been picture worthy until lately. I have been smoothing over the body and finally sprayed it in the color matched primer and finished the cage. This is the end of the body work until spring when things warm up, I am going to move on to working on the engine until then.

Dave, I'm impressed with your full cage. "Man" I wish you lived closer to Tennessee. I could use some help trying to put one in a Cj6. You should go into the business of Roll bars inc. lol

    Nice build,
    Ken

Dave, what did you follow to do your YJ spring conversion? Did you buy or fab the hangers?

Thanks Ken, it was my first cage built from scratch, there was a lot of head scratching but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

davistroy, I used a shackle reversal that converts to YJ springs from M.O.R.E. That took car of the hangers, then I added 1/4'' to each side of the spring mounts on the axles and built my own spring plates. I am going to have to grind just a small portion of the front pumpkin webbing for the U bolt to sit correctly but its minimal.
This is the kit I bought when they had a sale last Easter. I paid about $150 at the time.
