I just wanted to say thanks to all my fellow jeepers. I got my jeep running agian tonight. Finally found the conn, rod bols from a fellow in portland oregon who ownes a machine shop and had a set laying around on his shelf for a while. He was eager to get rid of them so all worked out fine. I pressed them in and put it back together tonight. Now it is time to start the spring over conversion on my spare axles.

What type of SOA are you doing? Wrangler springs? I just finished doing the YJ SOA on mine, and boy what a difference in ride quality on road. Can't wait to go offroad and test it.
Good to hear things are going well on your project.

I am doing a spring over on my origional axles on my 67 cj5. I am still looking for a dana 30 front end with disc brakes to replace the 25, but I can get ot up now, and work out camber angle to make it ride right. When I find a 30 front I should already have everything worked out to just weld it up and bolt it in.
