This is a question best answered by a renegade ll owner. Does the hood blister have a pinstripe around the perimeter or is it just solid black.

It is just solid charcoal paint. It is not a decal like the stripes.

Without taking another pic, here's the best I could find of my original hood paint.

Does that paint end where the hood ends and doesn't go onto the cowl at all.

The paint stops at the hood. There is no paint on the cowl.

Is the hood blister just painted on the top of the raised area in the middle of the hood or is the whole raised area painted.

I'm not sure I understand your question.
The entire hood is painted the base color. The charcoal paint was applied separately on top of the base color.
My charcoal blister paint is starting to peel. You can actually see thick and thin layers of charcoal paint now from the way the paint was originally sprayed. I saw another RII that lost all of its blister paint, except the small area on the forward side that is is underneath the leading edge (and out of the elements that cause most weathering).

Thanks, the picture of just the hood says it all.
