On my Dauntless I currently have a set of reproduction steel fuel lines that run from the firewall over the intake manifold and down to the fuel pump. I am in the process of converting to power steering and wonder if I'd be better off running rubber fuel line all the way from the tank to the pump. I could route them so they'd be protected and it would eliminate lots of little hose clamps. What do you all think?

I ran steel all the way to the pump and then looped rubber line to make the connection. One place was close to the mount for the power steering pump so I covered the steel with a piece of heater hose to protect it. I liked the look of the steel better and it was easier to mount where it goes across the manifold.
