Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the stock headlight switch(has five connection posts) in a 1971 cj5?
I bought a new one and I am having trouble getting it hooked up to work correctly:v6:.

    Thanks

Most new switches have a power in on the end. They have a headlight tab that is only on when pulled to second position. Then the one that doesn't make sense to use for a Jeep is the Park position that is on in the first position and off in the headlight on second position. The tailight tab that is on in both positions is last. It works best to run the front running lights and tailights off the tailight tab and not use the park position at all. Simple enough explanation?

I had the orginal switch in mine that had the glass fuse, I couldn't get mine correct. I ended up buying a new switch, and every thing worked correctly after that.
