258 cooling capacity

    I want to flush and refill the cooling system on my '75 258 CJ,, I want to pick up some antifreeze on the way home, but I don't have the system capacity here at the office... I did a search, but couldn't come up with the answer, What is the capacity of (stock) a 258 cooling system?

    Haynes manual lists it at 10.5 US quarts.:flag:

    Factory Service Manual also says 10.5 quarts.

    Get two gallons of antifreeze and two gallons of distilled water and make up all the 50/50 mix you need. Plus extra.
