Thanks to everyone for their input on my problem with the clutch fork. Nickmil was the man, ordered a third fork, did a little filing on the ears and all is working as it should.

Now, got the tranny back in its spot, can't seem to see where the hook up for the speedo cable to the transmission is. Can someone give me a hint?

First thing there are no dumb questions, the speedometer cable hooks up to the transfer case on the passenger side.

Passenger side but in what relative position? Front/rear, top/bottom?

    Thanks in advance.

Glad you got the clutch problem handled!
Speedo cable hooks up to the rear output housing of the transfer case on the passenger side between the housing and frame rail. You'll see the threaded housing that the speedo cable hooks on to.
