I was wondering if any of you have seen a stroked odd-fire?

I bought my engine from Brian Chachuia in Los Angles. I have found out that the mains are 3" and the rod's are stock 225. The stroke is the same as the 350 buick 3.780.

I was pondering to rebuild this motor but it will be some bucks about 3 grand . Anybody hear of these stroked odd-fire? Any info or people to talk to would be appreciated.

They build them for racing. Reason for the odd-fire conversion is the strength of the crank. I was gonna do the same with the race Jeep but couldn't afford the custom crank shaft and distributor. You have to have a special distributor and cam also. Don't have any specifics on them as I stayed even-fire with mine. Not cheap as you noted. I am curious as to what kind of heads and intake, and distributor you have in it though. Nickmil.

Check some of the Cyclone/Typhoon sites. I recall information on them there.

Those guys use 'em as Nick noted, for racing.

    Sparky,

I couldn't find the sites you mentioned. Do you have the exact address for cyclone and typhoon?

    Thanks

Go to your local Chevrolet dealership and ask to look at "Chevrolet Power" manual #24502488. This will give you all the info on the 90-degree V6.
