Another Dash Light Thread

With all of the recent discussion about dash lights I checked out mine. Well, the LIGHTS and HAZARD lights in my dash (that do show their age but work) when lit the letters glow green and when not lit the letters appear black BUT the extra LIGHTS and HAZARD lights that I have also light up green but when not lit the letters are white. Anyone know why they are different? By the way, I need the correct WIPERS light if anyone can help a brotha out.
