CJ5 Frame casting number

    Does anybody have a decoder for the number on the frame on front driver side? Mine says 2074 and Im beginning to suspect my Jeep is a '74 and not a '72.

    Just above the steering gear? I'm not aware of any decoding of the frame stampings...aside from the serial number being stamped on the passenger side top, near the motor mount's I think.

    I kind of doubt that it is the year...I have a 75 frame that is stamped 7007.
