I have re installed my 360 and am getting everything back for a test run. Last night i installed my clutch linkage and stepped on the clutch petal to see if it was adjusted correctly abd heard a clunk. The pivot ball between the bellhousing and clutch fork had fallen out of position, the ball was at the bottom of the bellhousing. I got the ball out with a magnet.
My question is has anyone gotten the ball in place without seperating the engine and transmission?

    thing i suggest.
1rst: put a lot of grease on the ball (this will help the ball to stay at his place
2: dissamble the mechanical linkage (only the part that come in touch with the clutch fork.
3:use a pen magnet and put the ball in place while moving the cluctch fork
    4: reasemble everything together
