special help is needed !!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i got a 69 cj tub i put it on a 73 stretch frame i took the heater box off the 96 and put the whole front part where the master cylinde is . weldered it up and everything and tried to mount the hanging pedals from the 73 and i dont remember where they mount from the firewall . does it use the same holes as the master cylinder? and when i mount it there i pretty much dont have any room for the pedals to swing . i only have about 3 inches of play . is that right ??????? any pics would be great . i dono wat im doing wrong....??????
