What gap on points distributer

    I have a 75 cj5 with the 304 what is the gap suposed to be for the points in the distributer. Also what is yaws opinion on going to an hei distributer?

    .016 or 30 degrees dwell.
    Search HEI upgrade, lots and lots of discussion/opinions on which style but a very worthwhile upgrade whichever you choose.

    A 75 should be no points. Mine was and the FSM indicates no points, no telling what might have been swaped in.
